“In un contesto di incertezza e volatilità dei mercati, ci siamo attivati rapidamente per garantire nuovi flussi di approvvigionamento. Dopo gli accordi sulle forniture di gas con i nostri partner in Algeria, Congo ed Egitto nella prima parte dell’anno, a giugno Eni è entrata nel progetto North Field East in Qatar, il più grande sviluppo di GNL al mondo. In Africa orientale, abbiamo avviato la produzione di gas del progetto Coral South FLNG operato da Eni, il primo a valorizzare il grande potenziale del Mozambico. In Italia, ci siamo proattivamente impegnati nella ricostituzione degli stoccaggi di gas in previsione della prossima stagione invernale e le nostre raffinerie hanno aumentato significativamente i tassi di lavorazione per garantire un adeguato flusso di prodotti petroliferi per soddisfare la richiesta di mercato.
Abbiamo profuso il massimo impegno nel garantire la sicurezza degli approvvigionamenti energetici, continuando nel mentre ad attuare la nostra strategia di decarbonizzazione. In Plenitude, il programma di espansione della capacità di generazione da fonti rinnovabili prosegue verso l’obiettivo di superare i 2 GW entro la fine dell'anno; date le condizioni di mercato, l'IPO è stata rimandata ma rimane nei nostri piani. Il business Eni della mobilità sostenibile incrementerà il valore delle nostre bioraffinerie, facendo leva sull’integrazione verticale con il nostro innovativo agri-business e il portafoglio di soluzioni decarbonizzate. Tecnologie breakthrough sono il motore del nostro sviluppo come testimonia la costruzione in corso dell’impianto dimostrativo di fusione magnetica che punta a produrre energia netta da fusione nel 2025.
I risultati finanziari conseguiti sono sostenuti dalla costante attenzione all’efficienza e al controllo dei costi. L'EBIT adjusted del Gruppo nel trimestre è stato di €5,8 miliardi trainato dai business E&P e R&M; l'utile netto adjusted è stato di €3,8 miliardi. Con un flusso di cassa adjusted di €10,8 miliardi abbiamo finanziato investimenti organici per €3,4 miliardi e la politica di distribuzione dell’intero anno. I solidi risultati conseguiti e l’aggiornamento delle nostre previsioni sul mercato di riferimento ci consentono di migliorare la remunerazione degli azionisti aumentando il programma 2022 di acquisto di azioni proprie a €2,4 miliardi."
